Which Homeowners Insurance Covers Pitbulls?

Your Questions Answered by Experts

More about it...

Hi, I'm Donn Sharer. You know, I recently saw a great picture of a pit bull puppy and it reminded me that many, if not most, insurance companies have removed liability coverage for accidental bites caused by pit bull puppies. And it's not just pit bulls. Many carriers have expanded the list to include dobermans, German shepherds, and others. Now this is important, because these types of lawsuits can be significant. What to do? It's a good idea to check with your current property insurance company to make sure your particular breed is covered. Or, even better, give us a call. Our agents are always happy to take a look at your specific situation and find solutions that are appropriate for you.
